Don't think Hales has played yet, I assume it's because Notts are flexible in letting their players participate in the IPL.

Don't think Hales has played yet, I assume it's because Notts are flexible in letting their players participate in the IPL.

Wonder what the Notts supporters feel about it? Can't imagine they will be happy to have their star player wasting his time sitting on the reserve bench in IPL -especially after their disastrous start to the season.

Suppose it's better that Hales is missing one weeks worth of domestic cricket rather than two months. I'm surprised the ECB haven't blocked the move given Mumbai Indians have effectively devalued the T20 Blast by taking one of, if not the tournaments best player out of the competition.

I agree. Poor decision by the ECB .
