Quetta needed 7 off 2 overs with 7 wickets in hand.

They scored 5 and lost by 1 run...

Might have made KP nostalgic for his early years with the England ODI side.

Misfield on the last ball and Rossouw turns down the chance to run for 2. Probably would have been run out but why wouldn't you take the chance... :hmmm

not a big surprise to see this happening

http://www.espncricinfo.com/pakistan-su ... 84714.html

makes a bit of a mockery of the competition and the decision to hold the final in lahore even more of a political decision

Malan, Jordan, Sammy, Samuels all to play for Peshawar in the final in Lahore. None of Quetta's overseas players will be there so they get to pick some new ones: Van Wyk, Anamul, Ervine, Chigumbura, Emrit.

Nice to see Cricket back in Pakistan and PCB wish of bribing players to come over worked.
never actually expected the likes of malan, Jordan, Sammy and even Samuels to come over.

probably only a matter of time till the tournament held in pakistan but not sure the country could handle it, one off games are ok in terms of security but doubt the country could handle overseas stars staying in pakistan.

bit of a hollow victory in cricketing terms considering they were playing against half the team that qualified for the final

PCB got the political gesture it wanted tho

although do wish PCB don't rush cricket back quickly, Pakistan won't be able to handle a proper tour/tournament yet.
one off games are easy to organise considering Pakistan promised the players in and out for the foreign players.

Success of the final likely going to make PCB think about hosting the entire competition in pakistan, especially if they feel players can be brought to play in Pakistan.

They had 10,000 security for the final. Doubt they could maintain that for a whole tournament or tour.
