Am I allowed to do that?

please don't tell the BCCI or they'll send the heavies round to give me a good kicking for my temerity

or worse.... they might send Ravi *modded* Shastri and Danny 'any old inanity will do' Morrison to come and live by my bins until I learn my lesson....... upsetting my hens and mucking up my egg production targets..... pointing out where in the sky above my house the MDF blimp ought to go, and calling my treatment of old people's feet 'citi moments of success'......#shudder

personally i think its a disgrace that there isnt a county championship game on the TV every week, no reason they couldnt just have a sky sports cricket channel

I always have cricketing wet dreams about the feasibility of the BBC doing it.

Think about it....they have live radio commentary on all matches, BBC4 sits there doing nothing all day. Stick a couple of static cameras around, employ an editor.

The fact there is 0 live cricket on TV is appalling.

Anyway ....back at the ranch.....De Villiers' performances in the IPL really does show just how much pressure he feels under when he plays for South Africa. He's just a different player.

i think having the games on the TV regularly and getting people familiar with the teams will make people more inclined to go and watch

andre russell teeing off, three sixes in his 8 balls

22 off 8 so far

Utterly disgusted with Sambit Bal on Cricinfo disagreeing with the movement of IPL games out of Maharashtra.

How can anyone stand up and criticise moving cricket games out of a drought that is affecting 1000s of people. While I have enjoyed the IPL over the years, just goes to show how deluded those involved actually are.

"Mumbai Indians opener Lendl Simmons has been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2016 due to an injury to his lower back. New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill has been named as Simmons' replacement. Simmons' injury is similar to the one that forced him to withdraw from the first stage of the World T20 last month. He later joined the West Indies team for the tournament, in place of the injured Andre Fletcher, and scored a crucial 51-ball 82 not out in the semi-final against India in Mumbai."

Punjab really are awful. Occasionally you see performances from teams where they show no laudible qualities in any of the three disciplines,- today was one of those.

Maxwell is looking ever so ropey as are the rest of the batsmen.

Mitchell Johnson looks an eighth of the bowler he once was.

Add mistakes in the field and it's all a write off.

Careful Footman, the BCCI will issue you (or Red Devil) a DMCA notice for creating an IPL Fantasy League without permission.

I am sure Toddy and Hazard will look after you. One of them has a reputation for pinning footballers on the wall, the other kicking ballboys.

Their condition will be that the effervescent Danny Morrison delivers the updates.

Despite Morgan getting a comparatively decent score, I think Gambhir proved what an above average batsmen could do on that track.

Was an awful lot of heat around Sharma pre tournament but as a short form batsmen I rate Finch so much more. Sharma had a stonking January but has tailed away since. His average over last ten games for club and country is 29.4. This compares to Finch at 44.2.

DD may have half a chance now that Samson (what an inappropriate name) is out and therefore no longer able to suck the life out of his team's chase. Daft begger did this the other day too, scoring once (2 runs) off his first 10 balls. What a player like deKock doesn't need is being stuck at the wrong end for ball, after ball, after ball.

Trust Maxwell to start scoring after I wrote in my Sunday blog that he was starting to look a bit washed up.
