Must say I am rather impressed with George Edwards, good death bowler who has variations.

Wonder if things will sort themselves out when Travis Head and Kane Williamson join up

Williamson might give the top 3 batting some strength along with the occasional off-spin. Biggest problem is losing players on England ODI duty - Root, Rashid, possibly Willey, Plunkett and Bairstow. Yorkshire simply don't have enough white ball bowlers in reserve.

Travis Head is a pointless signing, not arriving until mid July and is only playing three T20 game. Also his red ball credentials are no better than what Yorkshire currently have even if half the batting side are out of form.

He was out stumped anyway, even if he didn't hit it.

Warwickshire strolling with to defeat with complacency once again.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

They required 69 off 10 overs with 9 wickets in hand. A pathetic win off the final delivery. This the second game Bell has misjudged the pace required which for a player of his experience is poor.

It's nonsense to give a result in one day games in how many wickets you lost, it's how many balls you had over that matter.

Ansari really impressed me last night. He stayed deep in his crease, waiting for the bounce before executing his shot. This was the best way to deal with that surface.

The Currans impress me too. They look so confident and have very mature cricketing brains.

Ollie Rayner is a good talent as well.
