Despite the jinxing efforts we made it.

I was in a restaurant and was holding the BBC radio commentary to my ear. Must have looked a bit odd.

Just back from the game. A great evening if a little cold. Good to see the ground full. Middlesex's batting was not great, too many dot balls. I reckon 150 would have been competitive but they tried to get more and failed.

Northamptonshire such a success story built on good coaching and a well drilled team performing all their consistently skills well.
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."

I didn't realise quite how well Gloucester have been playing. Two of the leading run scorers and leading wicket taker & look like the form team of the competition.
All sounds like a recipe for disaster but perhaps they are due to have a bad game and Durham surely have to win an away QF at some point - not that I'm predicting it'll happen tonight!

True, it's usually a shambolic defeat in front of the cameras. Let's just hope it's a good pitch!

Looks a good score for Yorks. But looks like it could have been a lot better at half way.

Didn't think Willey needed to go after Colin Ingram in the final ball when he got out, batting seemed to have got harder towards the end though Glamorgan bowled much better compared to the 1st 10 overs.

180 is a good total to put up though, i'd even be satisfied with 160.

"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
