Probably Yorkshire's last chance to qualify today, against Durham.

Not quite all or nothing, qualification is possible with 2 wins out of 3 but it means a whole lot of results will have to go Yorkshire's way. That said Warwickshire snuck through the back door in similar circumstances in 2014 to win the tournament.

Yorkshire reaching the knockout stages makes it all the more interesting with Root and Bairstow strengthening the squad significantly.

15 points is the likely benchmark in the Northern group. Notts and Norhants have already surpassed that and qualified, whilst Worcestershire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Lancashire can't get that many.

Warwickshire can be eliminated on 15 if they win 1 of their final 2 games, with Yorkshire winning their last 3 (including this one) and Durham their last 2 (after tonight)

Good effort by Yorks without Rashid, as his partnership with Rafiq has been the trump card. Tightens up the mid-table.

Excellent batting by Adam Lyth and some serious hitting by both sides. Liam Plunkett's pace was effectively the difference between winnning and losing, Durham's pace bowlers were almost much of a muchness.

Hopefully Yorks will get Adil Rashid back from not being picked for the Test. Tough game against Northants though.

Think he'll be playing AC.

Back to back final games v Norhants, and probably a brace required...

A lot of crunch or near crunch games tonight, not least the Warwickshire game v Notts.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Decent start for Yorks with the bat. Willey opening against his old county. I'll settle for 200. Rashid is indeed in the XI.

Don't know why Ben Duckett is playing for Northants. he should be away with the England Lions, bonding and playing carpet bowls.

Warks are stagnant, unable to make headway against this experience bowling of Notts. Could get even worse when Tahir comes on.
