Terrific from Northants deserved win but poor Notts continuing their disappointing season in all formats. Hales looks a player who's lost his way completely.

Weather has held up well, the worst of it is in the North West.

Bumble as usual has to be the Star of the mascot race, the *modded*.

That seemed a shorter mascot race than before. I can remember loads of obstacles.

The BBC coverage today is really top notch with James Taylor and Chris Woakes there as summarisers. Taylor has an excellent radio voice and clear diction added to a deep knowledge of the game and players. Woakes is no slouch either but his brummie accent is mor noticeable, which he said increased when he's in Birmingham.

Maybe 170 on here. Perhaps more I suppose depending on whether Stokes bats through.
