Arthur Crabtree wrote:Well done Durham, defended that brilliantly. Good luck to them and Northants in the final. Hope it's dry.

Thanks Arthur. Wood the difference there.
hopeforthebest wrote:In many ways a typical Durham result, always more dangerous as the underdog than as favourites. Intriguing final to come with Durham probably favourites.

Durham are usually terrible in T20 away from home but have done surprisingly well in the knock out stages. Whether they can have another good away performance against a top T20 side remains to be seen!

I'm thinking the bowling action of Crook is suspect. I wouldn't be surprised if he's throwing the ball sometimes.

There's some big lads in the side. What do they feed them on?

Let's hope they're not fed any pies when they're batting.

I was astonished by the size of Ryder when I saw him last week.

I thought physical fitness was a minimum requirement these days but it seems not with a few big units on the circuit.

It does appear that Edgbaston is an excellent venue for this finals day. The ground staff are reputed to be the most efficient of all the grounds and it's location can hardly be bettered. I wonder how long they will host these finals as there must be some envious grounds itching to get their hands on them.

Durham were going to host finals day once but gave it away for a reason I can't remember. Something to do with swapping it for an ODI.

Yes I think so. Durham felt the day wouldn't sell out.

!54 to win doesn't sound too many but if Durham bowl as they did in the semi I don't see Duckett scoring as easily as he did against Notts.
