I hardly think he's interested in Tests any more anyway.

true would be nice if he did play it when it doesn't clash with any Domestic t20 competitions.
Russell probably WI best All round option as well.

Do you know if Pollard still wants to play Tests or has he given up?

no idea but must have given up now with WICB picking on him for the last few years.
think he wanted to play it before but WICB never picked him and was started to get annoyed for not getting picked in ODI/T20.

weird bit of keeping there

batsman miles out of his ground, keeper goes up and starts celebrating a caught behind rather than make sure of the stumping, almost takes the stumps off as an afterthought when he realises the batsman hadn't hit it but by that time it was too late

Among these bat swishers, the class of Klinger and Bell stands out. Why Bell decided to take a wild swing I can't fully understand but I suppose he believe the sloggers coming in could score quicker. In fact the run rate has only marginally improved.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Klinger and Bell are useful but only to set up the innings in the first 10 overs. Klinger and Bell were striking at 118, Marsh and Turner 160+.

Is there a better opening bowler in T20 than David Willey? Two wickets in one over :clap

i was about to post something similar

he was one of the best bowlers in the tournament last yeat iirc and to have an economy rate under 5 as well as being able to take wickets is pretty special

Their partnership of 85 runs off 58 deliveries was at a strike rate that equates to a 20 over total of 176, the final total was 177.

14 runs of their partnership came in extras. Compared to just 3 runs in extras for the rest of the innings.

Weird how the skills that I have seen lacking in the BBL (fielding and fast bowling) are the skills that Australia lack in T20s.

Feel sorry for Sydney Thunder. For me, Watson should be batting up top and McKay shouldn't be bowling at the death. They sorely miss Khawaja though.

Heat batting looking awesome this season - with each of McCullum, Pierson and Lynn all in great form so far.
