Maxwell is missing because he was in Australia for Finch's wedding. But he will play next match onward. So will Finch who had planned considering the IPL would be starting on 15th as per initial plan.

Darcy Short had lost his passport before taking flight for Mumbai. So he is expected to miss first match as well for Rajasthan.

Without him the average runs will be down to 140. So he is there to maintain the average runs at grounds upto 160 to 200. Another reason is that Legend cannot be dropped.
Glad Mumbai got rid of Vinay and Harby in this years auctions. Harby actually has a better chance on spin friendly wicket of Chennai.
