Lil Bravo seems happier in TKR than in the West Indies team....

They've finally done it!

At last, St Lucia broke their 15-match losing streak, when they beat Barbados by 38 at Beausejour. Captain Kieron Pollard hammered 104 from just 54 balls, including six fours and eight sixes, to lead the hosts to 226-6. Pollard received support from Andre Fletcher, who slammed 80 from 52, while pacer Wahab Riaz took 3-35.

Despite a knock of 58 from 45 from Dwayne Smith, there was not much else, as Obed McCoy took 3-28 to restrict Barbados to 188-6.

In Florida, Guyana crushed Jamaica by 71 runs.

Shimron Hetmyer hammered a round 100 from 49 runs, including 11 fours and five sixes, and he supported by Shoaib Malik's 50 from 33, as Guyana piled up 209-7. Pacers Krishmar Santokie, Oshane Thomas and Andre Russell took two wickets each.

Spinners Chris Green (2-19) and Imran Tahir (2-26) then dismissed Jamaica for 138 all out, Glenn Phillips topscoring with 43.

The Trinbago Knight Riders had a close last-ball win over Jamaica with four wickets in hand at Lauderhill.

Glenn Phillips hit 80 from 55 and David Miller 72 not out from just 34 to propel Jamaica to 182-5, spinner Khary Pierre taking 2-19.

Colin Munro then hit 67 from 51 and Darren Bravo 50 from 35, to take TKR to victory at 184-6. There were two wickets each for Imad Wasim and Oshane Thomas.

Don't even know how I'd go about proving this but surely SLS must be the worst performing T20 franchise of all time.

And it gets worse....

St Kitts crushed St Lucia by seven wickets with over 12 overs to spare at Gros Islet.

Left arm pacer Sheldon Cottrell took 3-14, and he supported by spinners Sandeep Lamichanne (2-13) and Mahmudullah (2-20) as they skittled St Lucia out for an embarrassing 69 all out, Qaid Ahmed topscoring with 24.

Makeshift opener Devon Thomas then struck 38 not out from 21 balls as St Kitts made easy work of chasing down the paltry target.

Of all the celebrations done by bowlers, I liked the celebration of Qais Ahmad . Front flip was the best. Side kick in air was athletic as well to some extent.

For me it's Sheldon Cottrell's salute.

Jamaica ended their unhappy, winless home run at Florida, when they lost a close match by two runs to Barbados.

Steve Smith hit 63 from 44, and Shai Hope 43 from 35, to take Barbados to 156-6. Pacer Andre Russell took 2-32.

Despite knocks of 42 from 32 from Johnson Charles, and 36 from 24 from Glenn Phillips, Jamaica ended up on 154-3, inexplicably losing with wickets in hand as Ross Taylor and David Miller were left not out in the 20s. Smith took 2-19.

St Lucia secured a rare second win, when they beat Guyana by six wickets with two overs to spare at Beausejour. Pacers Kesrick Williams and Obed McCoy each took 2-23 to restrict Guyana to 140-9, Delport topscoring with 25.

St Lucia knocked off the target for the loss of four wickets, led by Andre Fletcher with a run-a-ball 45 not out, and Kieron Pollard's quickfire 41 not out from 18. Left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul took 2-20.

At Kensington Oval, seven-foot left arm pacer Mohammed Irfan of Pakistan returned the astounding world record figures of four overs two wickets and one run, only to see his Barbados Tridents lose to St Kitts by six wickets with an over to spare.

Captain Jason Holder struck 54 from 35 to take Barbados to 147-6, against Anton Devcich (2-25) and Ben Cutting (2-18). Despite posting a modest score, Irfan appeared to have put the hosts in a winning position with his outstanding spell, but then Brandon King struck 60 from 49 in a bizarre innings of two halves, supported by a run-a-ball 32 from Devon Thomas.

Having left Florida, Jamaica returned to winning ways, when they beat St Lucia by 21 runs at Gros Islet.

Rovman Powell hammered 64 from 37 balls, and he was supported by 30s from Johnson Charles, Kennar Lewis and David Miller, as Jamaica posted an imposing 204-5. Medium pacer Kesrick Williams took 3-34.

Pacers Oshane Thomas (2-27) and Andre Russell (2-15) then restricted St Lucia to 183-8, with 40s coming from Kieron Pollard, Lendl Simmons and David Warner.
