Samuels and Lewis' quick hitting made up for Gayles inability to get bat on ball. 137-3 after 15 with Russell to come.

The West Indies crushed a Rest of the World XI by 72 runs in their T20 hurricane fundraiser at Lords yesterday. Evin Lewis struck 58 from just 28 balls, and there were similarly brisk 40s from Marlon Samuels and Denesh Ramdin, as the Windies piled up 199-4, Rashid Khan taking 2-48.
Pacer Andre Russell and legspinner then took two wickets each to leave the World reeling at 8-4, until Thishara Perera restored some pride with a whirlwind 61 from 37 balls. Medium pacer Kesrick Williams then took 3-42 to bowl the World out for 127 all out.
