Middlesex 72/6 ( and that's a recovery from 39/6 ) against Glamorgan after Ruaidhri Smith ( an unknown to me ) bowled out the top 4. He conceded 6 runs in 4 overs!

Just noticed they're playing an an out ground ( Old Deer Park, Richmond) so I wonder if it's a poor pitch?

Probably just a case that Middlesex, like us and Essex, are having a shocking time of it.

When you lose form in t20, you lose it badly. Hardest format to regain it.

Yes, seems very hard to halt a losing run.

Glamorgan also showing the value of continuing with a bowler who is doing well. Most teams would have taken Smith off after two, maybe three, overs.

The best way to restrict a side is taking wickets, and building up pressure with dot balls. If someone is doing that, give them the chance to continue doing that. Rather than bringing them off for 10 or 15 overs, and when they come back the game has completely changed.

Death bowling will take care of itself if the batters are already back in the hutch.

And indeed, the first two sides to lose today are Middlesex and Essex.

Quite possible that Northants will soon follow suit.

Surprised that Sussex have given Wiese this over, especially with RVDM on strike.

Surely you back Archer and Jordan to win you the game from here, and if it happens to go to the 20th over, then you call on Wiese.

Looks like Warks will beat N'hants in spite of Josh Cobb's ton. Unusual to made three figures aand end up on the losing side. N'hants could hardly have done worse this season. I keep thinking that they are good enough to scupper Yorkshire's rivals, but they never do.

Impressive looking 57 off 23 balls by Woakes of England, but South African Kiwi Grant Elliott the matchwinner with the ball.
I always say that everybody's right.

Big pair of back-to-back fixtures for the Bears tonight and tomorrow: Notts then Lancs. Two wins could yet get us back in the QF picture...

So far so good at Edgbaston. Notts 106/6 with just 5 overs left and Christian out in the previous over.
