well they might, as long as it's white ball and features Surrey, Essex, Somerset, Middlesex, Lancashire and Yorkshire

although I quite like the IPL just from following the scorecards and doing the fantasy league, I confess that on the odd occasions where I've actually watched some of the matches, I've generally come away feeling thoroughly underwhelmed at the standard of the matches, horrified and amused in equal measure at the standard of the fielding, and irritated beyond measure at the frequency of the stoppages and ad breaks

I'm guessing that this isn't going to plan for RCB

seems it isn't just England players who can't play spin

Have CSK prepared a minefield?

Taunton style

CSK using the spinners wicket to great effect. RCB 67/8 in 15.3 overs.Only 4 overs bowled by medium pacer Deepak Chahar.

got to question Partiv, surely. He keeps taking singles off the first ball and then exposing his tail to the carnage going on around them. Doesn't seem very smart.... and of course RCB are now 9 down.

Yes, can be very irritating. As well as BT Sports it's also on StarGold - channel 729 on Sky.

Russell took two wickets but was expensive

Star Gold is 801 on Virgin. .

Russell 49 not out off just 19 balls!

SRH were so ahead that only an innings from Russ could have won it for KKR. What an innings by Russ  Took 2 wickets as well. Those 2 sixers by Shubman in last over were timely ones.

Very strong top 5 for Delhi, but not sure how great they'll be apart from that. I would also worry MI have too many bits and pieces players. Both squads look a bit unbalanced to me - perhaps one of the pitfalls of having the auction systems (I've always preferred the idea of drafts).
