It's T20, so there's never a foregone conclusion, but I think England will have to play a blinder to beat India.

so do I

but, I'll re-iterate... India only managed one partnership themselves against Australia, albeit a belter. Early wickets in the semi and India might look vulnerable.... it feels to me as if all India's runs are with Mandhana, Raj and Kaur. Get them early......... hey, it's T20.... anything can happen

'Missing' Brunt, and 'no show' Knight have pretty much hamstrung England. Plus no runs for Beaumont, who normally features near the top of the runs stats and it isn't surprising that England are spluttering along

Biggest disappointment for me was NZ. I thought they'd be much better than that. There is a suspicion for me (but based on nothing, really), that Satterthwaite might be an awful captain. I don't know why I think that, but I do. If she is replaced as skip in the fairly near future, I'll know I was right

Healy passed fit.

Australia are a dangerous team when she is in it.

West indies unchanged.

Selman gets Mooney for six! One down.

Big wicket! Healy out to Fletcher for 46.

Matthews strikes! Gardner out for 10.

Australia struggling for rhythm here.

Dottin is having a wonderful tournament.
8-)
Lanning out for 31.

Cooper with a fantastic catch! Taylor strikes, Villani out for six.

Australia 142-5.

That will be difficult to chase on a pitch where scoring is difficult.

target 143

not insignificant, but not daunting either. Aus will have to bowl well

this has been a generally low scoring tournament though, so it might be enough

Healy with an outstanding stumping. Matthews out for five.

Dottin bowled by Perry for six!

Perry strikes again! Campbell out for seven.

Kimmince removed McLean for a duck!

A late blaze from Rachel Haynes, and early wickets for Australia, and the game has very much swung in their favour. Never over until it's over in T20s, but you'd think Stephanie Taylor is going to need to play a big one to see the West Indies home from here.

142 seems to be a decent total on a slowish wicket.

Alyssa Healy must be in with a shout of player of the tournament, especially if Australia win here. Even not batting last game, she's well on top of the batting stats. Only Kaur is anywhere near.

Another one down, and it's getting close to miracle needed territory for WI. They'll still have some hope while Taylor is there - If she goes, surely it's all over?

Vengeance for the 2016 final loss.

Certainly makes group B look much tougher than group A. Doesn't look good for England, given Australia lost to India, but are flattening WI, who England couldn't beat (narrowly).

And it's all over. A thrashing.

Let's hope the second semi is closer.

diasaster for WI

one off game for England, who have performed well below their best, I think. A fit Brunt would have made a huge difference to the team, but there are some established England internationals who owe the team a big performance tonight

Australia stuffed up tactically against India in their group match by feeding Mandhana and Kaur as much pace as they could have hoped for, and then getting themselves completely bogged down when India offered them absolutely no pace at all in return.

Hopefully England will have learned something for that game
