Lil Bravo and Hope can't seem to get a game. And yes, Tahir is here for the rest of the CPL....

At Warner Park, Guyana crushed St Kitts by seven wickets with more than four overs to spare. Qais Ahmed took 3-28, and there were two wickets each for Tahir, Paul and Chris Green, as St Kitts were bowled out for 121 all out. Shamarh Brooks topscored with 34 from 25. King hammered 49 from 24 to lead the visitors to victory.

At Sabina Park, Jamaica finally secured their first win when they beat Barbados by four wickets with more than an over to spare. Zahir took 3-20, and there were two wickets each for Worker and Ramaal Lewis, as Barbados were restricted to 140-9, Nurse topscoring with 37 from 18. Stand-in captain Walton led the Jamaicans to victory with 51 not out from 41 balls, Jason Holder taking 2-21 and Walsh 2-32.

In Basseterre, St Kitts beat St Lucia by six wickets with five overs to spare. Debutant Akeem Jordan took 4-33, and there were two wickets each for Usama Mir and Emrit, as they restricted St Lucia to 148-9, de Grandhomme topscoring with 30 from 22. Evin Lewis then hit 65 from 30 as the hosts chased down the target.

In a high-scoring thriller at Warner Park, St Kitts edged Trinbago Knight Riders on a one-over eliminator. First, Simmons powered TKR to an imposing 216-4 by hammering 90 from 45, while Carlos Brathwaite took 2-48. Captain Brathwaite then returned to hit 64 from 48, and Lewis 45 from 21, as St Kitts replied with 216-7. Anderson Phillip took 3-38 and Ali Khan 2-27.

In Kingston, Guyana crushed Jamaica by 81 runs. Malik hit 67 not out and King 59, each from 37 balls, and Hetmyer chipped in with 44 from 25, to propel Guyana to a challenging 218-6. Returning from a week out due to concussion, Russell took 2-35. Paul then took 3-34, and Tahir took two wickets, to dismiss Jamaica for 137 . Russell and Phillips each hit 40, from 19 and 32 balls respectively.

At Sabina Park, St Kitts beat Jamaica by 20 runs. Allen hit 62 not out from 27 balls and Hafeez 37 from 25 to carry St Kitts to 176-6. Cottrell (2-33), Emrit (2-21) and Alzarri Joseph (2-37) then bowled Jamaica out for 156 all out, Phillips topscoring with 87 from 49 in a losing cause.

At the Darren Sammy stadium, Barbados crushed St Lucia by 71 runs. Justin Greaves hit 57 fro 45 and Carter 30 from 21, to guide Barbados to 172-6. Kesrick Williams took 3-44 and McCoy 2-19. Jason Holder then took 2-24 and Joshua Bishop 2-33 to dismiss St Lucia for 101, Viljoen topscoring with 31 from 21.

At Beausejour, the match between St Lucia and Trinbago Knight Riders was washed out. St Lucia made 99-4 off 12 overs, with Colin Ingram on 52 not out from 34 balls, when the rains came.

Rain affected another match, this time in Bridgetown, where Guyana won by 12 runs on D/L. Chris Green took 4-14 and Tahir 2-22 to bowl Barbados out for 138 all out. Duminy topscored with 38 from 32. Guyana were 81-2 after 11 overs when the rain came, with King 51 not out from 34 balls.

all these eliminators, qualifiers and so on... seems to me it's just a way of squeezing an extra match in somewhere

It's like the IPL...top two teams play each other, winner goes through to the final.

Third and fourth play each other, loser eliminated.

Loser of first match and winner of second play off to become the second finalist.

I'm still trying to catch up with my recordings, so I'm nowhere near that yet!

At Gros Islet, St Lucia beat st Kitts by 20 runs. Fletcher hit 36 from 23 and Sammy 30 from 19 to take St Lucia to 165-6, against Hafeez 3-22 and Alzarri Joseph 2-20. Viljoen then took 3-14 and Kesrick Williams 3-48 to restrict St Kitts to 145-9, Hafeez topscoring with 29.

This afternoon's game between St Kitts and Nevis and Trinidad and Tobago was the first game I have seen from beginning to end this season.

Chris Jordan was looking in very good form again.

At Kensington Oval, Barbados crushed the Trinbago Knight Riders by 63 runs. Duminy hammered 65 from 20, while Charles hit 58 from 39 and Carter 51 from 46, to propel Barbados to 192-5. Pierre took 2-24 and Pollard 2-30. Walsh then took 5-19 and Duminy 2-24 to dismiss TKR for 129 all out, Darren Bravo topscoring with 28.
