At the Darren Sammy stadium, St Lucia beat Jamaica by four wickets. Kesrick Williams took 3-24 and Santokie 2-31 to restrict Jamaica to 165-7, Dwayne Smith topscoring with 58 from 38. Cornwall then hit 51 from 25 and Viljoen 32 from 24 to carry St Lucia to victory, against Imran's 2-34.

In Bridgetown, St Kitts edged Barbados by one run in a thriller. Brooks hit 53 from 33 as St Kitts made 149-7 against Gurney (2-23) and Walsh (2-37). Cottrell then took 3-27 and Carlos Brathwaite 3-30 to bowl Barbados out for 148, Shakib topscoring with 38 from 25 and Reifer making 34 from 18.

At Kensington Oval, Barbados beat st Lucia by 24 runs to join Guyana, TKR and St Kitts in the knockout stage. Charles hit 47 from 36 to take Barbados to 141-6 against Viljoen (2-26) and Santokie (2-25). Then, Walsh took 4-26 and Gurney 3-17 to bowl St Lucia out for 117 all out, Cornwall topscoring with 25.

At Port-of-Spain, Guyana beat Trinbago Knight Riders by 19 runs. Hemraj hit 66 from 42, Hetmyer 48 from 38, and Shepherd 32 not out from 13 balls, to propel Guyana to 185-6 against Searles (3-39). Chris Green took 2-18 and Tahir 2-32 to restrict TKR to 166-5, Pollard hitting 71 form 38 and Darren Bravo 58 not out from 36.

Sometimes T20 MotM awards astound me.

Jonathan Carter was made MotM for a 50 whereas Raymon Reifer got 4-24.

At Providence, Guyana recovered from 8-4 to crush Jamaica by 77 runs. Shoaib Malik hit 73 not out from 45, and Rutherford 45 from 43, to lift Guyana to 156-6, against Derval Green (2-23) and Oshane Thomas (2-40). Tahir then took 3-12, Qais 2-20, and Paul two wickets for two runs to dismiss Jamaica for an embarrassing 79 all out, Phillips and Liton topscoring with 21 each.

At Providence, in the last game of the group stages, Guyana beat the Trinbago Knight Riders by seven wickets. TKR made 143-5 with Munro hitting 43 from 40, Simmons 30 from 24, and Pollard 36 not out from 27, Hemraj taking 3-15. King hit 33 from 23, and Pooran 54 not out from 35, to guide the unbeaten Guyana to victory with more than an over to spare.

Shepherd then took 3-50, Tahir 2-13 and Odean Smith 2-25 to restrict Barbados to 188-8. Carter made 49 from 26 and Hales 36 from 19.

At the Brian Lara stadium, in the Second Qualifier, Barbados beat Trinbago Knight Riders by 12 runs to reach the final. Charles hit 35 from 41 to take Barbados to 160-6, against Ali Khan (2-36), Pierre (2-35) and Chris Jordan (2-40). Gurney (2-31), Walsh (2-33), Nurse (2-14) and Reifer (2-13) combined to dismiss TKR for 148 all out. Prasanna made 51 from 27, but there was not much else from the top order.

In Tarouba, Barbados won the final with a 27-run win over Guyana. Carter hit 50 not out from 27 balls, and Charles 39 from 22, to take Barbados to 171-6. Reifer (4-24), Gurney (2-24) and Nurse (2-17) combined to restrict the previously-unbeaten Guyana to 144-9. Brandon King topscored with 43 from 33, but he did not receive support from the other Guyanese batsmen.
