Yes. I think I read that Essex qualified having won fewer group games than any previous team.

We needed two off the final ball against them in their third to last group game. We only got one (run-out coming back for the second). If we'd have got both, Essex would have been knocked out with two games to spare.

Even as it was, the tie still left them second from bottom in the group and needing a miracle.
