Mzansi Super League

Caught my first game of this today and Jozi look a completely different team to the one who ran out victors last time out.

Absoultely blown away by Nelson Mandela Bay's bowlers today - most notably Junior Dala who got 3-19. His dismissal of Gayle was masterful.

Duanne Olivier looking better for Jozi then he did for Yorkshire, although his 3-39 was not enough to stop Paarl from defeating them today.

Jozi's disgraceful season continues with a sixth straight loss - this time to midtable Tshwane.

It was the bowlers wot won it for Tshwane as Morne Morkel got 3-21 including the last two wickets of the game in succesive balls to sink Jozi even further in the mod.

Dane Vilas' 75 from 52 balls was worth more than Janeman Malan's 75 from 42 as Dubai beat Cape Town.

It was Dubai's first win of a fairly luckiest season for them.

An old school performance from De Villiers saw Tshwane beat Paarl today.

The veteran Saffer - playing in his 300th T20 game - got 69 off 37 balls to help his side comfortably overhaul Paarl's meagre total of 129 with 5 overs to spare.

Ben Dunk never really sets the world alight in any T0 tournament other than the BBL - but he got 99* for Nelson Mandela Bau to help them over turn Tshwane's fairly decent score of 188 in a high scoring game in Port Elizabeth

Ben Dunk's 75* at the top of the batting order for Nelson Mandela Bay helped his team get to 173 - a total that Cape Town were unable to overturn.

It was a good day for Dunk as he also got picked up by Lahore for next year's PSL.

Tshwane beat Nelson Mandela Bay in the Eliminator as the showcase weekend of the MSL begins.

David Wiese - who elected to spend the bulk of the competition playing for the Bangla Tigers in the Qatar T10 League - got 3-30 and 31^.

Paarl will play Tshwane in the final.
