Managed to catch parts of both BPL games today.
First off Dhaka beat Comilla to overtake them in the middle of the table. It was something of a one man show for Comilla as Bhanuka Rajapaksa got a T20 high score of 96 whilst his team mates got 10, 0, 9 and 30 as his team got to 160-3. Dhaka overturned this with two balls to spare.
In the second game, Andre Russell starred with the ball rather than the bat as he got 4-37 to limit Khulna to 145-9. His Rajshahi team walked it with two overs to spare to move to second in the table. Fans of obscure stats will like that this is the 11th time Russell has scored 25+ runs and for three or more wickts in a T20 game. This takes him clear of Mohammad Hafeez and Shane Watson with whom he shared the record before today.
