Cricket Ireland Inter-Provincial Twenty20 Trophy

Postby The Professor » Thu Aug 20, 2020 9:16 pm

This tournament started yesterday with the Northern Knights beating the North West Warriors by 2 runs.

Today's first game was an absolute walk over for Leinster as they humbled Munster to 76ao thanks to 3 wickets from Gareth Delany. He then followed that up with a handy 25 as Leinster polished off the total with 12 overs to spare.

Been a good week for Delany after he signed on for Leicestershire in the T20 Blast.

The seventh and eight games were played to completion today after a series of wash outs in the last round.

George Dockrell led from the front in a 13 over a side rain affected game. He got 2-12 in 3 overs to limit Munster to 76-8. Leinster only needed 9 overs to see that off.

In the other game, the Northern Knights beat the North-West Warriors by 8 wickets.

Leinster lead the table with three wins and a draw with Northern Knights in second. Munster and North-West Warriors have yet to win a game.
