Today King Price (seemingly an insurance company) played off against MR24-7 Nampsire (Nampsire being a cricket company, the MR24-7 bit is anyone's guess). The insurance company had the backing of Gerrie Snyman, whose 47 ball 84 was instrumental in King Price's huge score of 237. MR24-7 didn't have anywhere near the firepower and were found wanting to the tune of 91 runs.

A sign company (XCO-M&M Signs) got the beating of the only properly named franchise team BA Blasting. This was despite 17 years old Dylan Leicher's 4 wickets.
"It has been said of the unseen army of the dead, on their everlasting march, that when they are passing a rural cricket ground the Englishman falls out of the ranks for a moment to look over the gate and smile."
