What a change for him this IPL. Few years back he played for CSK, gave 50 odd runs in his first match and was never seen playing for CSK. Dhoni always a fan of trundler bowlers . Give him 5 spinners and a ground more slower than Chepauk, he will still like it more than having a fast pacer. With Morne Morkel as bowling coach who likes raw pace, he may play all matches this year.

This year it has been topsy turvy returns for him.

Which foreign player does LSG drops once Anrich is back from SA.

I was going to mention that, Adi. It always felt daft to me that CSK would pay all that money for a player, then sideline him for the whole IPL just because it didn't go so well in match 1.

I'd still be surprised if he plays all the way through, tbh. He is the sort of player who has to be brought out of the box sparingly.

Franchisee would like to play international players for 10 matches atleast and more so if they have strongly gone in picking players during auction. LSG has an awesome pace attack in Mark, Anrich and Avesh who has reduced his pace recently but still can hit the bat quite hard at that speed. Mark Wood is injury prone so probably there is need to manage his workload. Maybe rest him on wicket like Chepauk (Chennai) where it is tailor made for CSK bowling attack which is majorly spin and few matches here and there.

RR should look to score 220. This is a very batsman friendly wicket.
