I thought the Man C player at the front post who went for the header was offside, sure enough he was. Good spot lino.

City have only beaten one top 10 team this season. United.

Drew with Everton, Lost to Spurs, now behind to Saints.

Why, you're on a decent run, playing well, without getting your just desserts.

City however are on a poor run.

Put Bravo undera bit of pressure and I can see him making another error.

We've got four FBs out injured. Playing our 3rd choice LB and RBs. City's attack should take our defence to pieces. That said, so far, so good!

If only he was.

But sometimes context needs to be given. City should still win this, but they are not getting the results of late, so questions should be asked. Maybe the early results were because of the opposition, and this expensively formed team are falling back into the rut they finished last season in?

Right got to go out and sit a climbing exam at our local wall. Enjoy the game

Always going to happen when you've got a manager with no defensive philosophy, and who refuses to ever budge from Plan A.

He didn't care about having a decent defence for Barcelona either. But with them, it didn't matter. When you have a side with Messi & Co in it, who keep possession 60%+ of the time every game, and who force the opposition to have so many men deep in their own half, that they simply can't counter attack you, then it's very easy to set your team up so that they just pass it out from the back every time - with ability on the ball being more important than basic defensive skills like, you know, awareness of opposition strikers.

City might be good, they might play attractive football, and I still think that they will win the league (probably by a nice little cushion). But they're not so good that you can't afford to send men up and press them. Stones, Bravo, Kolorov. You put pressure on these guys, and because Pep will only have them play one way, they make rickets.

Nothing like an early goal to bring to life a potentially dull encounter.

I was watching Pedro's celebration after he scored, and I was thinking to myself, stay back from the crowd or you're going to get booked. He duly did, but still got booked for over celebration. Pathetic ref, he's just scored the fastest goal in the Premier League so far this season, what's he supposed to do, walk calmly back to the centre circle without batting an eyelid.

Chelsea fans turning on Jose is a tad funny
