If there was ever an argument for not having VAR, that game was probably it (I'm in favour of it, btw). Imagine if Iran had taken that late chance... they'd have finished top of the group.... nonsensical. For all the ref was as weak as ditchwater, the players made it almost impossible for everyone concerned. There was more stuff happening off the ball than on it. Shocking really
