Just spotted the climb down, but it had been coming for days.

Usually nobody challenges the incumbent president of FIFA ( or so I understand), but if he’s daft enough (or corrupt enough) to stand again, I’d expect someone to challenge him.

Worth remembering that, a week or so ago, he was completely secure in his position and re-election was a formality….. which is probably why he thought he could get away with it. That’s probably changed and it would serve him right if he got thrown out on his ear
