Rooney's 200th PL goal. Only the second player to reach 200 after Shearer.

So far it has obviously been a great return to Everton, and Rooney even looks like he enjoys football again. But we're not even two games in yet. There's still a risk that this is only a phase that Rooney is going through, but Everton believe it to be more than that and do not therefore use these final 10 days to properly replace Lukaku - and duly regret it.

Only time will tell (if they don't sign anyone else).

Calvert-Lewin looks a decent prospect, the guy that scored the winner in the under 20 world cup final.

Shame our manager seems to want to leave the captain at home, not even on the bench.

Maybe the boys agent has had offers from one of the big boys.

If Man C do lose, they should bounce back comfortably next week, they've got us!

Yep 2 games in, but even so Rooney seems happy so far.

And the fact United are rumoured to still be paying part of Rooneys wages is even better for Everton.

Another soft sending off.

A game full of pathetic play acting.

I was all for the first red card. But that decision is a shocker.

Having watched both Europa League games and the Stoke game/Man City game, the problem he has is Koeman wants when fully fit to play 3-5-2 and has slotted him in 3 times at wing back, where in all fairness he has looked rubbish. When he switches to 4-4-2 and he plays up top as the second striker, he looks a very good player.
