Wasn't it 2nd to 5th from div one for the UEFA Cup?

Yes I think so. Unless someone finished there and won the FA Cup.

I believe, but can be proved wrong, that the Champions League winner takes a place regardless of position in the league, and that no extra place is given to the 5th place team if they qualify anyway, but no team is also removed from that division..... they had an extra qualifying round between the two lowest ranked teams when it happened with Chelsea.

I also believe that the Europa League winners place is already included in the quota for the competition , so an extra place is given to that domestic group?

Yep City should be happy with that. Though Real started to dominate the game towards the end. Still a very big ask to get through to the final

Hart was quite sensational. He will need to be in the Euros as well given the defence.
