England march on. A bit scrappy, not that convincing, but they are in the semi's and they don't have play Germany or USA. Japan as defending champs will be tough, but they only ever seem to win 1-0, so England have to be in with a bit of a chance.

It's the manufactured wax lyrical reaction, hype and arrogance I find off putting. Goodness knows what the reaction will be like if England make the final, or even go on to win it.

The headline on the bbc website says it all really..... 'England into 1966 and 1990 club'. Give it a rest, this is women's footy for heavens sake, the game of the loopy shot and terrible goalkeeping. The mens World Cup in slow motion is how I see it.
