Looks like you're getting Tyrone Mings though.

£8m

Yep, that was clearly the reason, both left backs.

I can't cope with little old Bournemouth paying 8 million for a left back, it doesn't seem right!

If only Chippenham Town added a sell on clause for Tyrone Mings.

It turns out he wasn't under any contract at Chippenham and Ipswich paid them £10k as a goodwill gesture.

Chile reach the semi finals of the Copa, and are involved in another bad tempered game.

Seems like Vidal was lucky to stay on the pitch again.

Japan get a penalty that was a foul outside the area.....

England response with the BIGGEST dive in the area for their own penalty....

Match so far is a draw, but the ref is winning for worse performance ever

Bugger!

England didn't deserve that.

hells teeth..... what a way to lose a semi final

They say that Japan always win 1-0, well take away two awful penalty decisions and Japan won 1-0.

England were terrific in that last half hour

I had this match down to record, btw, and the only reason I saw that last half hour was because I couldn't sleep with the heat, so I got up, only to find that the BBC switched channels at the last minute, so I was recording *modded* all

The BBC do this all the blooming time. I have no idea why they feel the need to switch something from BBC2 to BBC1..... they must be the only ones who think that it matters.

Japan would have scored anyway had Laura Bassett missed the ball, she did right to get something on it.

At least they don't get a hammering in the Final by the USA.

Anyway thank goodness its over, I'm sure it's inspired at least 8 tomboys to take up the game in this country!

Feel for the scorer of the own goal, not that I have seen it. Still, a pizza hut advert beckons.

England will no doubt feel sorry for themselves, they were unbaisedly the better side for me, especially in the first part of the second half.

But they were very negative, and that was their undoing. They were negative all tournament in fact, the 4-5-1 they played with an emphasis on quick and direct breaks left the striker isolated all tournament. Yet when the ladies looked to express themselves, be more positive and try to commit people forward, they created chances. They should have looked to do more. In all games as the match ran to the second half England's ladies have looked the fittest team. They didnt do enough to make that advantage count.

The coach has to take some credit for that. Maybe harsh, but they will know deep down that they could have won the tournament, and shuold have undoubtably been at the final after losing to a very poor and lacklustre Japan outfit.

Not quite, there is the 3rd/4th place playoff to be unofficially crowned Champions of Europe.

Cue another few days of self celebrating, wax lyrical reactions. The amount of publicity these subsidised professionals get just for competing in a marquee tournament is disgusting. It comes across that women don't participate in sport and are rarely successful.

Chile win the Copa America on penalties.

Higuain is horrendous. Biggest bottler in world football. Martino is so clueless bringing him on for Aguero.

It was a very dirty match. Medel should have been sent off in the first half.
