No surprise that England crashed out when our youngsters get overlooked by the top clubs in the Premier League who, with their riches, don't mind paying for finished products not qualified to play for our national team.

Nigeria become the last team to lose their clean sheet record, thanks to a great effort from Di Maria, and that man Messi scoring the goal. And then Nigeria hit back immediately, with a great run from Babatunde, and a wonderful finish from Musa....

Interesting how all of Argentina's matches have been in the south. If they make it to the semis, then all their future matches will be in the south too, going no further north than Brasilia.

I've said for a while that I think Messi is the best ever, and repeatedly been told "not until he leads Argentina to a WC win, like Maradona", so heres hoping.
