The gold cup has started...Jamaica held costa Rica to a 2-2 draw and Trinidad beat Guatemala 3-1.

Austin scores in added on time to give Jamaica a 1-0 win over Canada...well done boys!

Jamaica beat el Salvador 1-0.

Trinidad came from 0-2 to lead Mexico 3-2 until mexico turned it around 4-3. Then Trinidad score in the dying minutes to make it 4-4. What an exciting game....

In the quarter finals Jamaica edged Haiti 1-0 while Trinidad went out on penalties to panama after a score of 1-1 in full and extra time....

England and Scotland have been drawn in the same group to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

Will certainly make the qualifications more interesting. England would be pretty happy with that draw.

Mexico beat Jamaica 3-1 in the final...no disgrace there.

Apart from beating Belgium, who they have also draw and lost to in the last 12 months, they failed to beat Ireland, lost to Macedonia, drew with Bosnia and beat Israel.....

Quite how these rankings work is beyond me.

England qualify for a world cup in the same period (wales have never done that), win all their group matches including two against a top seed from the last world cup, havent lost a game in a year??

They are nonsense, but they do give a small indication of how poor we really are, despite al but qualifying for the Euros. Hopefully Wales can win tonight and get a foot there as well.
