Not too bad down your way, budget. Love the new forest and the beach at sandbanks. Might try and get down there over easter, weather permitting.

The beach from Sandbanks all the way to Southbourne is pretty fantastic but as with alot of locals I don't get down there as much as I would like to, but when I do go I tend to go to Branksome Chine which is just a bit further towards Bournemouth coming from Sandbanks.

I lived in Ringwood for a couple of years when my parents moved there in the late eighties which is right on the edge of the New Forest. Again I don't go as often as I should but when I get a chance to take the family there it is usually a fab day out.

Feels like a lifetime away, those Premier League years felt fraudulent with the bandwagon support and the clubs future was gambled in sustaining top flight football.

Thankfully those dark days are gone and Valley Parade is a much more enjoyable place to visit, regardless of result.

Try going to the AMEX. A 25,000 stadium full of wankers who never gave a shite about the Albion when we were struggling to survive. I know people who signed the public petition to stop us buidling in the city because it was too good for a football team.... they are the same ones pulling ridiculous selfies while at the game, or posting #BHA4ever all the time.

I dont really identify with the Albion anymore. Me and my old die hard friend Martyn went last year, and we both agreed we would swap the home brewed pale ale, the branded fashionware and nice food for a bog reeking of piss and a 7 hour round trip drive to watch us get beat at Mansfield on a freezing January night!

Some people like success and the atmosphere, I personally liked following the Albion because it meant something to be part of it. The club is souless now.

Can relate to that when Bradford hit the big time in the League Cup, glory hunters stood out like a sore thumb sporting tacky merchandise on the street corner and taking photos/videos inside the stadium. Best bit was getting a chant going Tom Hark style "It's only a cup, who gives a duck, we're Super City and we're going up" and said bandwagoners don't even react.

The League Cup final itself was cringe from ticketing arrangements right to the actual day. Glory hunters boasting they have secured a ticket, whilst legitimate fans who moved out of the area can't get a ticket due to not being in a BD postcode. Then some facebook fund raising effort to have a massive flag dedicated to those lost in the fire disaster, with companies brandishing their logo before being removed. Either way it split the fanbase because of how sensitive the subject is and those responsible for the flag never took that into consideration. On the day itself, the flag and 56th minute applause was not pleasant for all Bradford supporters as haunted memories and grief resurfaced.

As bizzare as it sounds, some Bradford fans were happy to forego the League Cup Final if it meant winning promotion to League One. They certainly made a point as losing 4-1 to Exeter was more painful than the 5-0 drubbing against Swansea, that was the moment when any playoff aspirations were killed off. The League Two playoff final itself was a more enjoyable fixture, it felt more of a normal home league match. Upon winning the playoff final there was a better feeling than winning a one sided match, a realisation for the first time in 12 years we can look up rather than down.

Lets face it the only true supporters are the ones who do a 600 mile round trip on a cold Tuesday evening in January.

Decent point for Wycombe, and Northampton lost, so takes us 5 points clear. Good win for Torquay though, which makes it even tighter down at the bottom.

Rumour has it administration is looming and more than a 10pt deduction.

Didnt the Italian bloke give them money assuming he would own the club? Do they have to pay that back? Can they?

That is an interesting point, GFH Capital don't want to go down the Administration route but if Cellino wants his money back then GFH's hands are forced.

EDIT: Apparently Cellino is owed £10 Million according to Calendar.

Yep, and better still i've heard no reports of violence in our town. It was reported by someone on the comments page of our local rag that there was some chanting from some fifty something year old Leeds supporters on their way to the game along the lines of 'We're gonna smash your f**king town up. Good to see they've mellowed over the 25 years.
