City get yet another tough draw. Arsenal and Liverpool will fancy going through, as will Chelsea.

Chelsea should win their group comfortably , Liverpool should also get out of that group despite having to play RM. Arsenal have been really unconvincing so far but should go through alongside Dortmund. No easy games for Man City and the timing of their away game against CSKA might be a factor but If they are serious about winning it then they have to be able to finish above CSKA and Roma surely.

Thank goodness Man United didn't get Real Madrid, Barca, or Bayern. They will fancy their chances I think to go undefeated.

Just up the road GG in Lund. Good location with Malmo and Copenhagen so close and some pretty nice if understated countryside around.

Might even get to a few Lund FC games and even try the odd handball game.

Serious imbalance in groups again. How on earth do you justify EPL champions getting a tougher group than the other 3 teams? I thought the advantage of finishing higher was that you get an easier group?

because your seeding is based on your European record not your domestic one ...

thought you would be happy with man city getting a hard draw given you are a man utd fan , or at least used to be ;)

That ranking thing should really go. No wonder the gooners keep getting past the groups.

I think the seeding could be done differently, maybe extra points for your league placing and strength of your league, but I cant see how they can just get rid of them

Yeah, should have worded it better. You do need seeding's of course, but like you say, done in a fairer manner.

Arsenal will no doubt reach the last 16, which will have their fans gleefully happy. They might go further, and who know's win it. If the 2005 Liverpool team can, then why not?

wenger would need to make 2 more big signings before Monday to have any chance of that and not sure how likely that is

I am an England fan (football only) even more than an Utd fan and in the absence of Utd would like to see the other English teams go ahead. Real Madrid is the other team I've a soft corner for purely cus of my unashamed manlove for James 'Hamez' Rodriguez after THAT goal against Uruguay.

The whole seeding is a joke...just pick 8 groups of 4, if that means that Chelsea,Arsenal,Liverpool and Man City are all in the same group, so be it.

I'd prefer an open draw but I suppose TV money dictates everything as usual.
