Yep, Liverpool are a different team without Mane.

Sadly, the same applies to us! (For over 12 months now)

Very underrated at present for me.

Im guessing right now the gunners are pretty pleased to have offered Arsene a new contract last season. :coat

I honestly think he could do an equal, if not better job, for Barcelona than Coutinho. The addition of Mane's raw pace could lift them no end. How often does anyone shoot from 25+ yards out for Barca anyway?

Either would be quality additions. But I don't know why all the focus is just on Coutinho.

Possibly last years injury problems? Or Manes age?

If both stay at Liverpool this season, they will be a threat to any team.

Chamberlain to Chelsea looks like will happen. Good news for us, because we have a 20% sell-on clause apparently (not sure if it's 20% of profit, or 20% of proceeds).

Arsenal fans will be the first to tell you Oxlade has made the wing back position his own after Wenger went to it late last year, its felt on their boards that they finally found an area he wasnt just ok at, but was actually very good at. Chelsea play the wing back system. They also desperately need depth, and despite his obvious lack of stepping up in regular midfield, Oxlade has played everywhere on the pitch more than once, apart from CB. Not only is he a player that could excel, like Victor Moses has, in that Chelsea system and under different management, he also gives Chelsea emergency cover in a lot of areas on the pitch, a one size fits all signing. And Chelsea need cover in a lot of areas.

Makes perfect sense. I guess what doesnt make sense is Wenger selling Gibbs and Oxlade Chamberlain and persisting with 3-5-2, while not playing his new guy last weekend.

Who does he intend to play in the wing back role when he sells everyone? Monreal is mega slow, if its him they will continue to get battered.

Chelsea are also in need to English qualified players.

Newspaper reports that Arsenal could include Walcott in a deal for Virgil. Assuming it includes around £40m in cash, I'd accept. Bring Theo home. And then go on a mad dart to try and spend that money!

Suspect it is media tosh though.

I actually think he could get more time at Chelsea than he will at Liverpool, who appear to have won the race.

Chelsea only really have Hazard, Willian and Pedro as competition for Chambo. Or Moses at RWB.

Whereas Liverpool - who don't really play with an out-and-out striker - have Mane, Salah, Firmino, Lallana and Coutinho (at least for now). And don't tend to play with a RWB.
