Doesn't bode well for his career

Pretty sure he will have to retire.

Hey, maybe they'll identify what the problem is finally and fix it for good, but golly, trying to continue seems full of risk at this point in time

b0llox, it's turning into a horror month

I don't know what it is on the road this season, but Newcastle are so dominant at home and so passive away. Chelseas dominated everything by the looks of it (PSG lite), but Newcastle got the early goal and nearly, nearly hung on. Almiron had a chance for 2-0 in stoppage time, but the keeper saved it and then we failed to defend a cross properly straight after and conceded the equaliser. Chelsea nailed all their pens and Trippier and Ritchie missed theirs

It's been a chastening month on the whole. Trippier in particular seems to be having a torrid time

Caicedo should have seen red. Of course this would have changed everything.

I confess that I've given up on referees awarding red cards for nasty or reckless challenges. You're more likely to be sent off for protesting about an error and then kicking the ball away than for making a challenge that risks serious injury to a fellow professional

Fulham
Middlesbrough

as soon as Chelsea went through on pens, I knew that they would draw Middlesbrough in the semis

for all that Newcastle have been atrocious away from home, it didn't even occur to me that they might lose to Luton Town

Luton bloody Town

it's been a shocking month. 5 defeats, 2 cup exits and Liverpool away just around the corner..... don't bode well. I can see a hammering at Anfield

Just switched on the Brighton - Spurs game and I've seen a disallowed goal for spurs and now a worldy from Estupinan.

And now a penalty to Brighton. Needless challenge from the defender.
