Corks a fantastic player, and very underrated ( bargain at 750k ), Its no coincidence our season turned around once he was fit.

I'm not sure how effective Cork would be without Schneiderlin though ( who is slightly better than Cork ), I definatly think they are the best CM duo in the Premier League though.

Apparently England are going to follow the cricketers example. The plan is to let Brazil race into a 4-0 lead in the first and then try to chase it down in the second half.

From what I've seen of Brazil they really struggle to defend. They may be sumptuous to watch going forward but If England can hold off the attacks and then counter they have a chance to win. That being said Neymar will have to put in a better performance then he did v England the last time round, he began well but was anonimous for most of match.

I really don't understand England's team selection. It seems you can be an average player on poor form for one of the 'big' clubs and get picked, whereas a player on great form for an average Premier League team gets overlooked. My XI:

Hart
Clyne, Jones, Cahill, Baines.
Lampard (c), Cork.
Walcott, Wilshere, Zaha.
Sturridge.

Lambert, Rooney, Pucheon, Caulker, Shaw, Butland among the substitutes.

I love Cork, and he had a massive impact on our season, but even I wouldn't have him in the England squad.

But I would have Lambert, and I would like to think that Clyne and Shaw both have great England careers ahead of him. Puncheon could maybe be in with half a shout, should England have mass injuries in the wide areas. But a lack of pace is his undoing.
