Chavski would be in some serious trtouble without a new buyer, they'd probably end up having to sell players to cut the wage bill I'd imagine. I assume they are still making losses?

Anybody else think that we are seeing the last season of Arsenal with Wenger in charge?

Despite a long and largely successful Arsenal career, he seems to have the fans questioning his decisions, and the players questioning both his decisions and now his methods. He hasn't won a trophy for a few years and France will be changing their national manager at the end of Euro 2012, with many believing that he is the preferred replacement.

Until recently i didn't believe that he would be interested in going anywhere except possibly a move 'upstairs'. Now I'm not so sure. He might see the chance to take over the France job as a way to leave Arsenal with his dignity intact. Better to accept a 'promotion' rather than face a 'dismissal' from a club he clearly cherishes.

Pick almost any day's paper talk on the bbc teletext and there'll be a story of Eden Hazard interesting this club, or that club, or issuing a 'comeand get me' plea, or refuting a move to somewhere else..........

Why is he in the news all the bloody time?

And why is he always referred to as 'Eden Hazard, 21'.... seems a strange name to me. Is it a bit like Joe 90?

I've come to the conclusion that the transfer windows mean that for several months of the year, the papers have bot all to talk about.

Transfer windows are a waste of time.

They were brought in so managers wouldn't be hassled by phone calls all year round by other managers interested in their players. Therefore the window would only allow two periods a year when this would happen.

Wrong. Managers still get hassled all the time. It's just that no-one can sign the players until the window opens.
