Premiership 2015/2016

The beautiful game!

Its all kinds of wrong really. The public pay 100's millions for a stadium, and its then rented out for basically free to an entity that will charge people absorbent prices to fill it!!!! Why should a private enterprise be given such a deal on public land???

Its a lose-lose everywhere on this one.

Sadly not for West Ham. The way the deal has been worked out, it might mean that the 2.5 million wont cover the costs for the ground. So on top of the 250 million spend on changing the stadium, the tax payer could be out of pocket every year whilst west ham use the ground. This deal needs to be ripped up.

How much has/will West Ham got for selling their ground? All that money should be going to the Tax Payers.

The ironic thing being, the majority of Hammer fans would be happy to stay at Upton Park.

Well there was a huge opportunity to get something better for the public here. Its such an incredible gift that it defies logic as to how it could have been bought for so cheap a year!

At the very minimum, the council should have insisted on having power to limit ticket pricing. After all, its the people who paid for the stadium to be built, to maintain it.... why the hell should they be the ones not to benefit from it.

It leaves you speechless.

Yep it does.

I wonder if EUFA will see this as government help. It is giving one team a huge advantage at tax payers expense.

Comes from Birmingham, so can't think of any reason he might want Sunderland to win!
