Dirtier than Pepe?

Well Sergio Ramos is dirtier than him, but Alves has always been the dirtiest player ever.

Milner has done something useful for the side, he let Kane know that Alves hadn't left a stud print on his head.

No, but he did get booked for a ridiculous foul.

The 4-4-2 diamond is a rubbish formation..... time to revert to 4-5-1 and win the game

Here's some of his finer moments. The one against Costa was also in a friendly

He wouldn't last 5 minutes if he played in the same era as, and against, players like Tommy Smith, Chopper Harris and Nobby Stiles.

I've quite liked what I've seen so far.... good pressing, good in possession, winning the ball back quickly when they lose it, good concentration. Obviously the usual suspects keep dozing off... Milner and Smalling... but the full backs have been excellent (and Rose has to do his job as well as keep an eye on Carlton for when he gets hopelessly out of position, or has a kip, or something). Dier has looked good, Alli... all good. Need to get Vardy into the game more.

Bruno Alves......... what a t1t :no still... there may well be times when England have to try and break down a defensively minded team, so it won't be completely wasted

Is Smalling really the best we've got? It's almost insulting to England's proud record of fielding top quality centre backs

I've never understood all this 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1 *******. Somehow they should be utilising Vardy's pace, haven't seen a single pass for him to run onto. Not much hope of any quick Leicester style breakaways with those two slow coaches Rooney and Milner in the side.
