I couldn't give a flying *modded* about the fortunes of other peoples teams, but even I stayed up long enough to see if the title would be decided last night.

It is a bit of a fairytale, despite what SP says.

The really good news.... and, in truth, the only thing that actually matters, is that Spurs can't win the the title and can't not make the Champs Lge, so they'll have absolutely nothing to play for on the last day of the season when Newcastle will have to win to have any chance of survival.

Given all the hype about Jamie Vardy, I was most surprised by the scale of Harry Kane's superior goal record for this season. I think I thought it would be neck and neck, but Vardy didn't even get close to Kane

Most teams have an idiotic element. Leicester fans aren't any worse than the average club but are well behind teams like Leeds and Millwall for a hooligan reputation.

I see the hype has now pushed another boundary. Its no longer the greatest achievement in football, but now of all sports.

Never heard of the Miracle on Ice, just as an example that far out ranks this one? What about then Jon Daly's US Open win?? Goran's victory at WImbledon.

Sportsbook odds dont mean anything, they are just mathematical figures that a bookie gives to an outcome.

Greece wining the Euro's is up there. Easier competition to win as less matches to get a lucky streak over.

Goran is better. He was ranked 125th in the world, Leicester were ranked 17th in the Premier League when they started, and the tournament at Wimbledon only 7 winners (compared to 6 Premier League winners), so it seems success is just has hard to find for lower ranked individuals.

Tennis rankings are b..s..t, sussex. He may not have played many tournaments, hence his low ranking. He definitely wasn't the 125th best lawn Tennis player in the world at that time.

The bloke couldnt even beat qualifiers for about two years, and had to rely on his fan favourite status to enter tournaments as wild cards. Even in minor tournaments he was getting beat by nobodies, and he could barely pick up a racket. Not long before Wimbledon he essentially retired and didnt enter the two slams before that even as a qualifier, having instead chosen to give up and try to forge a career in football, where he played for Hajduk Split in Croatia.

After it was apparent he was no good at football, he only entered Wimbledon out of "nothing to do" syndrome, and I believe he never won more than one or two matches after.

These things happen in tournaments though. Joe Johnson, Greece, Liverpool in 05, Wigan with the FA Cup. Winning a 38 game league is a different story. I for one think it's an amazing achievement.

18th I put on the League prediction, but that was before Nigel Pearson made a racist remark about Thai Ladies and got fired. Ranieri I would have said would have just saved them, 16th-15th ish.

Don't forget Ranieri was at a low point in his career when he took over. Adds to the remarkable nature of this achievement.
