You also wonder why Chealski bought David Luiz back. I mean it was the deal of the century when they got rid of him, why bring him back.

Luis is probably the worst player I can remember that has played at more than two top teams in the world week in, week out, and has well over 100million of combined transfer fees. He has no discipline whatsoever, his positional sense and situational awareness is terrible, he inever anticipates anything.... I dont get it, I really dont.

Anyone who posts regularly on here must no my view on Luiz, so it is saying something for me when I say he is probably the least of Chelsea defensive problems.

Cahill looks no better than a top half Championship defender, and has done for 12-18 months now. In fact, since John Terry clearly eroded at the start of last year, its clear that Terry (himself way past his best) was masking just how terrible Cahill is. I dont think I have seen Cahill have a mistake free game in a long time, his mistake yesterday cost Chelsea the game really, they never recovered.

But saving the best till last.... Ivanovic. Sorry Ivan, but do the decent thing and call it a day. He is utterly finished. He has no pace, he turns as quickly as an articulated lorry, he offers no attacking threat, and got burnt on every one on one. He is clumsy in the tackle..... I still not sure how Ivanovic wasnt sent off either.

It is going to be one massive rebuilding process at Chealski. Perhaps they have some hidden gems tucked away in the 41 players out on loan? If not, they are going to need to spend, and spend big. They spent nearly 120 million over the summer, and do they look any better for it yet?

I remember when today's opponents moved from The Dell, and went down the season after, or maybe after that? I'm sure leaving from there didn't help them, as the crowd were very close, which would have made for a great atmosphere.

West Ham are a victim of Bilics success lst year. They have one amazing player, and are missing their next best so far. After that you have to think they are a middle table side.....

We moved to St Marys in August 2001, we weren't relegated until May 2005. But yes, we did seriously struggle during our first few weeks at St Marys (including sacking our manager due to our poor start).

Great win today, even if (a) the opposition were dire, (b) we again started slowly, and (c) we continue to miss chances for fun. Without any exaggeration, we could have easily scored 10 or 12 more goals over our past five games.

Very early signs of possible Martinez-itus, that disease where a manager takes over a team built on doing the basics right and being hard to score against, and during your first season at the helm you're able to input all your attacking impetus onto them without them losing what they had. Basically you get lucky. But ultimately, before too long that does disappear, due to it not being worked on and players being moved on etc, and all you're left with is a side who concede a goal or give the ball away when you just breath on them.

You have to hand it to Southampton FC, new manager and new team pretty much every season and they continue to look like a very decent Premier League side.

They controlled the game from start to finish today, Bertrand and Redmond were especially good for me.

We'll lose Virgil next summer, and if they step it up slightly this season then keeping hold of Tadic, Bertrand and Forster will be difficult too. But you can be certain that we're already looking carefully for replacements, in the event that they do go. Our scouting department is huge.

Truly shambolic performance once again....we are a shadow of the side we looked like last year...a mess at the back, lacking any real creativity, and lacking a genuine goal-scorer...real test for Bilic now...think we are gonna miss James Tomkins more than we thought..
