Rotherham United part company with manager Steve Evans, citing both club and management team had different ideas on moving the club forward.

Seems odd to get rid of a manager who has won two matches on the spin after a slow start.

Isnt he known to be a bit of an idiot, though?

Very much, his mouth tends to runaway and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened at the board meeting.

The use of 88 players in his 4 seasons might be another factor, but understandable given Rotherham got promoted twice and their reserve squad contained a number of senior pros to begin with.

The managerial merry go round is in full swing as Fleetwood Town sack Graham Alexander on the back of three straight league defeats, even though he won promotion and finished in the top 10 last season. Another club with ideas above their stations.

I am pretty sure not only is he known to be a prat, but he also once got could up in some corruption investigation at Boston? Something to do with tax evasion, but I might be wrong, and it might never have been proved.

88 players in 4 seasons, in any stretch, is barmy.

Bradford securing an impressive, but also much needed 3-1 away win against Rochdale who are in the top 6. Still two points above the drop zone, but 4pts from the playoffs. Now is the time to get a run going, because League One is not a division where you can survive a prolonged poor run of form.

11 games into League One and none of the usual suspects for promotion are even in the top 6, bar Coventry. This could well be the most closely competed League One in modern history.

Coventry City have signed Joe Cole. Keep him fit, and what a buy!

When was the last time he played any meaningful football? Can't see him doing much in a month.

Another overrated player with the surname Cole alongside Ashley, Andy and Carlton!

Joe won't even be the best Cole in League One, that honour belongs to Devante :halo:

91st minute winner at Crewe puts us two point clear at the top of League 1. Long way to go but the signs are encouraging.
