Well this has got out of hand for West Ham.

They really are in trouble.

Not much more you can say about that Aguero challenge, other than its disgusting and 100% meant to do it. Not the first time hes done that to Luiz either, he purposefully studded him on the arse a few years back and unbelievably avoided punishment.

But yeah.... I like Sergio Aguero, but I lost a lot of respect for him today. Gets his feet 20 cm's higher, and David Luiz isnt playing football in a while.

Seems like Aguero will serve at least 4 game ban due to previous red card this season.

That will mean at least 7 games this season missed due to red cards, that's not great for City.

Has budget climbed off the roof yet?

Got to say, hearing Klopps words afterwards, can you get a more classy guy then him. How many managers would watch that last 15 minutes, get a microphone shoved in their face, and say "bit of a shame, but hey, what a great story...".....

I have always hated Liverpool, but this guy makes me want to just dislike them a little.....

I thought that was his forte, shot stopping.

I'm struggling to see what he is good at!

As more than a few people have pointed out after today, what would you rather have in a keeper - one who can supposedly play football (Bravo) or one who can save shots (De Gea)?

But with Pep as their manager, it's hardly a surprise.

No, still up there!

Totally agree about Klopp, top man.

Absolutely seething at the final whistle after what had happened, but then made a point of shaking as many hands of Bournemouth players that he could.

Also spot on with his post match comments when he said "they opened the door, but Bournemouth still had to run through it. A great story, just a shame he was on the wrong side of it."

It's amazing what players can get away with in the first 20 minutes or so of a game. Referees just seem to turn a blind eye, but then after an hour of the game, they suddenly revert to yellow carding anything that moves.

Mind you, the reaction of the tackled player probably helped save Rojo in this particular incident. He didn't writhe around in agony, but seemed to get up pretty quickly.

Aguero's tackle was more like GBH. Fabregas was lucky not to be carded, after a sly slap on Ferandinho.

As for the game, City really should have buried them before Chelsea got their first. After that, City's defending was abysmal.

Like Luiz. Could have easily got a red early on.

And the stupid rule about not being able to overturn a referee's decision when he has seen the incident, means that he'll escape the three match ban.

The sooner they get rid of that rule, the better. Referee's make mistakes, that's life. Don't compound the issue by then having a rule which prevents retrospective action. (You can't tell me that with the benefit of replays, Michael Oliver won't admit that it should have been a red.)
