He has a point though, Hull City Association Football Club is a mouthful and Hull City Tigers will probably be easier to market in Asia, much like why Cardiff changed kit colors.

Why not just 'Hull City'? Nobody call themselves .... .... football association or football club. Southampton Cruisers seem ok?

They will be referred to as Hull City, the same way no-one calls them AFC now

Southampton was founded as St. Mary's Young Men's Association F.C., then changed to St.Marys F.C before becoming Southampton.

So its not a new thing or foreign owners that change names.

They already have 'The Tigers' on their club badge and a picture of a tiger, its their nickname and club mascot is a tiger, its not 100% random

PSG somehow draw 1-1 at home to Ajaccio. They had 34 shots. Appalling finishing.

Lazio landing them in trouble over racist chanting by their fans AGAIN, do they actually ever intend to do something about the racist element of their support :no

Seen on the northstandchat that Barry Fry apparently turned midwife and delivered Craig Mackail-Smiths baby the other day... :clap The mother, Amber, is Fry's daughter... he met her when playing for the POSH. Apparently they couldnt get her to hospital in time so grandad Fry took matters into his own hands and did the honours. :lmao

Congratulations to CMS.... could never meet a nicer guy in football.
