Good result for our Scandie brothers too. Sweden parked that bus, buried the wheels in concrete, then let Spain have all the ball and waited 90 minutes. Arguably had the best chance too

Renato sanches totally changed the game when he came on. Party started here in Portugal now. Think I'm flying home tomorrow with a hangover. Good to see people having fun

I've only had half an eye on the second half, but Germany look a poor side

in fact, Germany look like the same side they started with in 2006

Apparently Ronaldo's star power is so strong that he single handedly wiped 4 billion off Coca-Cola's market value by snubbing them at a press conference:
https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... rket-value

Never liked the guy, but I did appreciate this. He looks disgusted as he removes the bottles of Coke that have been product-placed in front of him, and holds up a bottle of water telling people to drink that instead. :D

I saw a headline about Pogba and bottles, but I had no idea to what it referred. A lot of this stuff passes me by. Cheers fluffy

Italy hammered Switzerland 3-0!

They're looking like the team to beat.

It's a bit intrusive and grasping to make players face the media behind a bank of drinks.

After endorsing Pepsi, KFC and currently working with the most polluting company on the planet (Unilever - who also mass produce sugar filled crap) I think the last person I need a lecture about this from is him. He gets paid 150 million dollars a year, where does he think this comes from?

If he wants to talk about his employers family dynasty never paying tax, then I am all ears. Of course, if they did pay their taxes they probably wouldn't have the money to spend 30 million Euros a year on his salary.

But then again, as a convicted tax fraudster himself in Spain, maybe he'd be best to avoid this.

I only saw a bit of the game, but the two Belgium goals were sumptuous

Geez, all I said was I found the video amusing. I wasn't intending for it to be a whole examination of his hypocrisy, like I said, I don't particularly like the guy, so I don't really pay any attention to his activities.

The big UK battle tonight. IMO this could be harder than the Croatia game. Hopefully not and we'll win 5-0 but doubtful.
