i'm obviously not an international football manage but when playing a team like san marino who basically get 11 men behind the ball surely you have to play with proper width and try and stretch the defence not just keep trying to pass your way through the middle

Chambers hasn't got much going forward. may as well put milner there. At least he can go past a man.

Milners having a mare so far, given the ball away numerous times and got a yellow card in a game that no England player should get one.

He's better out wide. May as well have a rb who can attack against this lot.

Quality piece of refereeing. Give the correct decision first up, then go and have think about it with the lino and conspire to get in wrong. Nice tv replay would have sorted that one out.

I kinda get what they were saying on commentary about not changing tactics just for this game and letting the players get a low pressure experience playing hodgson's preferred system , but what is someone like chambers really learning about playing as a right back tonight ?
