An apt moniker that you have :rasta

I think my Scottish gene must be dominant!

Ha, yes.

You a Bear fan? Awesome team in the mid 80's.

Yes I am, sadly they had one great season and not much since. One losing superbowl appearance back in 2004 or 2005. Have a feeling if they'd sorted out a decent quarterback after McMahon they would have won a few more.

Sussex is a cheesehead what about you DR?

A Ram, when they were in LA, but Jerry Rice was my favourite player, so followed the 49ers as well. Gave up watching in the early 90's. Not sure why? Green Bay were dire in the 80's-early 90's, then Favre came along. Yes, the bears had a great defense, but an ageing Payton, and a lame passing game, so were always going to struggle. That's what's good about American Football. No team dominates for a long period, unlike soccer, sorry Football :-)

You need to get into it again DR so that come September we can get the American Sport thread going. Red zone on Sky Sports at 6pm every Sunday is one of my favourite programmes.

You can adopt St Louis as your team, think they made the play offs last season but can't be certain as my memory ain't what it was.

I do, what was the name of the presenter, Richardson on something like that?

I can actually remember watching American Football back in the late seventies. Can't remember the channel it was on or anything much about it.

Nicky Horne, that was it, don't know where I got Richardson from. I remember it being on Saturday mornings after the italian football highlights around the time Gazza was at Lazio.

I know the guy but don't remember watching it when he presented. He must have done Sunday evenings.

Looks like Yaya is on his way out. Such a shame after a brilliant season for himself and the club.
