Premiership 2015/2016

The beautiful game!

Well i wonder how Untied will play Bournemouth next week. Go with the idea a draw is a good result. Or maybe go and attack. Will todays result make LVG be more cautious, if he could ever be more cautious?

We did attack more today, just not enough quality up front to finish.

It's so frustrating, you see City get torn to shreds, Arsenal playing like Arsenal, we should be well clear running away with the league if we even turned 2 or 3 of the draws into wins.

This Liverpool midfield of Lucas, Milner and Allen is frighteningly awful.

Not sure there ever was one, they've been pretty inconsitent in the league since Klopp has arrived, something like 3 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. I could give him a bit of advice, never play Milner again, the man is Vanarama Conference standard.

Newcastle have won today, which I guess is not great for the rest of the teams down the bottom, especially for Villa, who are now two wins adrift from the team above them. One consolation for me is that at least McClaren, after today's result, will get another 5 games at least!

Yes, we did Newcastle a massive favour on Wednesday by making Allen look good. It allowed him to keep his place.

Can't say that I'm surprised to see Liverpool slip up today. They're a totally different side with Benteke in it. Even more so when Coutinho, Sturridge and Lallana are all not in it. Benteke is a great plan B option for Liverpool - as illustrated when he came on against us at Anfield the other week, and bulleted in a head from a deep cross - but he doesn't fit their plan A.

As for Ibe, he's a bit all legs and no product. An over grown, and even worse, version of Sterling.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Stoke beating City, Bournemouth beating Chelsea, Newcastle beating Liverpool and Leicester still top of the PL.

It's a strange season.

Makes it a better league for the neutral. A slightly frustrating one if you support one of the big boys, I can imagine.

No surprise being a product of Barcelona's academy. Likes a nice step over or twelve.

Didn't do that well against us, Daniels had him contained most of the game, and he eventually got subbed.

But, yes he does look a decent player.

I think the step overs will become less as he matures. But he looks like he will have a good career
