im sorry but i have to say i disagree about RVP backfoot..

yh he is class, but Falcao has had an unbelievable year..

but im not convinced by who picked the side....all la liga...really?

interesting article here, looking at players who have scored the most important goals not the player who can score hat tricks for fun agianst poor sides. shows messi has a long way to go to join the true greats of world football

Messi is one win away from ending the greatest player ever debate. He already is IMO but a World Cup win would silence any critics.

Golden Ball for Messi. Not the best player but had a fairly good tournament. 4 goals, 1 assist. Argentina may not have got out of the group without him.

The fact Argentina lost this match shouldn't change anything.

Still not sure you can compare eras. He is easily the best current player in the world though.
